February 17, 2012: The Westin Beach Resort will host the Teamster National UPS Freight Grievance Committee in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 7-9.
February 8, 2012: UPS Freight Teamsters know they deserve a better contract.
Now they’re coming together to address subcontracting, work guarantees, and wages and organize to win a stronger contract in 2013.
January 20, 2012: Hearings on subcontracting at UPS Freight are delayed again—till April 25. That’s according to a memo from Ken Hall released today.
December 16, 2011: UPS Freight Teamsters from a number of terminals including Akron, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Orlando, Austin, Portland and northern and southern California have met by conference calls to form a national network and prepare for the upcoming contract.
October 24, 2011: Ken Hall has announced another delay in the arbitration hearing on the Local 745 Dallas subcontracting grievance.
August 24, 2011: The national UPS Freight grievance panel will meet Sept. 14-16 in San Diego—and many locals continue to grieve subcontracting out of Teamster work.
